After School Clubs

After school clubs are a fantastic way to supplement curriculum teaching, offering weekly after school sessions within the creative arts can help extend your pupils learning outside of the normal school day. Not only will pupils build new friendships and skills but they will also work towards small performances or exhibitions which help boost confidence and creative ability.

We offer professionally run after school activity groups in the following creative genres

Drama

Drama can unlock the hidden artistic potential in any student, increasing confidence and offering a new outlet for expression. Pupils will learn drama techniques as well as working on short plays and improvisations, our professional drama coaches will encourage students to perform with confidence through drama games and activities. All groups will have the opportunity to work towards performances of original work developed within the sessions.

Storytelling

These unique after school groups focus on the importance of reading aloud to children, focusing on the art of storytelling and the opportunities that reading opens up to all pupils. Stimulating imagination through reading and related games and activities pupils will work through a programme of selected stories designed to introduce poetry, prose and differing genres to primary school level pupils.

“Just to say thank you for another brilliant dance day! You do an amazing job teaching so much in such a short time to so many children. You enthused everyone from the youngest reception children to the lads in Year 6 - no mean feat! The performance at the end is a brilliant idea- the children got so much from both watching and performing and all the staff (including our new head) and the parents who came to watch were really impressed. Thank You”
